Saturday Spotlight Time

What this means is that one of the Fashionettes gets to showcase whichever entries caught her eye and puts them into the spotlight.  This week it’s Shirley picking her favourites.

Another late posting girls but again Shirley has also been very poorly over the Christmas but at last she is on the mend and starting to feel human again so below she has given her choices and also the reasons why.  She had a hard time choosing from all your amazing entries so instead of the usual three for the Spotlight she has picked five.

#17 – Caro

I loved this altered cuckoo clock and Isabella and Edward really take centre stage.
You really have to look very closely at this creation to see all the beautiful stamps which Caro has used.

#24 – Dawn

Dawn’s altered frame really surprised me as I am not really a bling girl but this has inspired me to change my mind.
The image used is really delicate and I love the elegant soft colours which she has used to surround it.

#34 – Myra

Oh my … where to start with this amazing piece of altered art Myra.
Who wouldn’t love to have this screen hiding unsightly electrical outlets in their home, I know I would find a place for it.  Adorable.

#38 – Margie

Thank you Margie for entering this fabulous card which you made for your Brother-In-Law.
Such an inspirational male card plus the pastel colours show we don’t have to use the darker shades for the men in our lives.

#52 – Alexa

Congratulations Alexa for being chosen as a runner up with this adorable creation, very well deserved.
The stash you won is also very cool.  Such a lot of time spent on the different techniques you have used but well worth it.

Well done ladies you all deserve to be chosen for the Saturday Spotlight, don’t forget you still have one more week to enter the …

#5 -Katie K

I absolutely adore the panoramic winter scene Katie created with stamping plus all images have been so beautifully coloured.  I also loved the snowflake border made from the ‘on the edge’ die – it adds a perfect finishing touch to her project.  I will definitely be drawing inspiration from this make in the future!

#11 -Debbie R

Debbie’s vintage ornaments are simply stunning!  I love her super creative use of dies and the perfect amount of embellishments to create very elegant, stylish decorations.  Beautiful Christmas project – definitely one to save as a favourite for my next year’s makes

#69 -Alyce

Alyce’s gift box is just mouth droppingly gorgeous!  There are so many yummy layers, beautiful distressing and her colouring is divine!  I love all her little finishing touches with burlap, decorative pins and flowers.  And her die cut additions were just perfect for our challenge!
